To earn potency, words must be spoken or written. If we do neither, we have done nothing.
Born Obiora Nnadi Oji on the late evening of 18th May 1984, Obi has not lived up to his potential yet.
From a humble beginning living in the outskirts of his hometown and surrounded by the extended family, he found quietude walking the steeply pat to the stream and juggling the demands of childhood with a very volatile innocence.
It was no surprise that writing became his escapism – having grown up in the hinges of many untold beautiful stories and multiple story books. He started to write short stories, adapting them to scripts for the then nascent Nollywood directors.
He even typed them himself on his mum’s typewriter! Unfortunately these scripts never got past the blockade of talent dysrecognition that is froth in Nigeria.
